The Day Before the Day Before...

I can't believe Peanut will be here in two days! I am so excited and anxious - it's hard to imagine being able to add the title "Mom" to my existence in just under 48 hours. Pregnancy has been such a learning experience. Aside from my obvious expanding belly, my entire system has been growing on auto-pilot for the past nine months. Without hesitation I eat healthier, I breath healthier - I feel healthier. As much as I am physically nurturing this baby - it has given me ten-fold of self-love in return. It's been a "Win-Win" situation, people.

But, of course, it's been nine months - let's get real here: I'm done. I'm done waking up four to five times a night to either pee or roll over. I'm done
grunting while having to slide sideways to get up and off the couch. I'm done thinking Edwin finds it cute when I give him a flirty smile and blame my gassiness on the baby. I'm done being perplexed as to how women who are pregnant during the colder months contort their bodies to be able to put on socks and tie shoes without passing out.

So, Everyone: Welcome to my new Blog. My wonderful friend who is also a new mom, Kim, helped me create this blog to keep everyone updated (and give me a creative outlet between future diaper changes, feedings, naps, diaper changes, feedings, naps...). Thanks, Kim!
