Punkin' with the Pumpkins

Vincent is turning into a little man! I am so excited when he wakes up in the morning ~ because I know that the day is going to be full of surprises. Vincent now 'waves' Hello and Goodbye to people. This was the most fun to see as a new mom - because thus far, for twelve months, communication has been one-sided. Now, When I ask Vincent where Daddy is - he lifts his tiny arm up and uses his elbow like a pendulum to say "Hi" to Daddy while Edwin grins and waves back. This has also worked on Tess, Lucy and the Mailman.

We are also anticipating Vincent to be walking any day now. He loves to stand up and hold onto the furniture while he explores the house and he often lets one hand go and "stands" by himself. When I get near him and say, "Come to Mommy," he lets go and tries to walk towards me. But inevitably he falls forward into my arms. All the while, Vincent is smiling. He is such a happy boy and Edwin and I could not of asked for a more beautiful child.

Thankfully Vincent has also has the intrigue and love for animals. Everyday I take him to see his doggies and he watches in amazement when they play and laughs so hard he can't catch his breath. He particularly loves it when Lucy sneezes. He laughs so hard, I start laughing and we both have to catch our breath. These are the moments I will cherish forever.
